What this policy covers
This policy describes how Orellana Law, P.A. handles information collected through this website. It does not cover information you provide by telephone, in person, or during a representation, which is governed by the firm's professional obligations.
Information collected
The only information this website collects directly is what you submit through the consultation inquiry form: your first and last name, email address, an optional telephone number, your preferred contact method, the matter type you select, the description you write, your acknowledgment of the inquiry notice, and whether you opted in to text messages.
When you submit the form, the hosting infrastructure also processes standard request information, including your IP address. A one-way hashed form of that address is stored temporarily and used solely to limit repeated automated submissions. The original address is not retained by the firm.
How the information is used
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To assess whether the firm can assist with your matter.
- To send text messages only if you affirmatively opted in, and only in connection with your inquiry.
- To protect the form against automated abuse.
The firm does not sell your information, and does not use inquiry content for advertising.
Storage and service providers
Inquiries are stored in the firm's hosted database and are not publicly accessible. The website is served by the firm's hosting provider, which processes requests necessary to deliver the site. Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the request information necessary to serve the font files.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not set advertising cookies and does not run third-party advertising pixels. If analytics are added in the future, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
Confidential information
Please do not send confidential details or documents through this website. Information submitted before an attorney-client relationship is formed may not be protected as confidential.
Retention and your choices
Inquiries are retained as long as needed to respond and to comply with the firm's professional record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of an inquiry by emailing info@orellanalawpa.com. Text-message consent may be withdrawn at any time by replying STOP or contacting the office.
